Round 4 of the NKF championship took us to Hooton park in Cheshire .
We arrived on Saturday to some very mixed weather making set up a little tricky.
We weren’t that fast at first but with a few changes got to within a tenth of the fastest drivers.
Sunday morning was dry so on to
Heat 1, started p13 and moved through a messy field to finish in p8
Heat 2, started p5 and after a great battle finished p1
Heat 3, started p7 and a messy race again ended in p3
This gave Matty pole for the final, he lead for the first couple of laps then got passed
and just tucked in and followed for 7 laps, the leader went defensive going into the first corner, Matty tried to go round the outside but got pushed onto the grass, kept his foot in though and lost very little time, caught the leader back up and made a very well timed
pass up the inside on the last corner to take the win !!
This narrows the points gap to six points between the top 3 , Roll on Rowrah !
