28/29 March was the first Nkf round at the picturesque gyg circuit in Wales
Following Saturday testing we were there abouts with pace and looking forward to getting our 2015 season underway. Sunday morning was wet and we had to start on p23 for heat 1
Matty had a great start and picked his way through the traffic to finish a credible 8th .
Heat 2 was wet again and we started front row on p2 , Matty led the race from start to finish winning by nearly 3 seconds. Heat 3 and the track was wet but it had stopped raining
We were off p11and and swiftly got up to 3rd , one lap to go and it looked like third would be our place but an outstanding last lap move at the Devils elbow gave us second place !
Three decent heats meant we would start the final off p2, Matty took the lead at the first corner and was never challenged taking the win by 2.92 seconds from his team mate jack !
A fantastic first round scoring 125 out of a max 130 points . We now look forward to round 2 at PFI in May …….
